Our involvement with the One Central Park development spans over a decade, beginning with concept design assisting Parisian architect Jean Nouvel achieve his vision of a building with a bio-integrated exoskeleton, and Parisian botanist Patric Blanc implement his proprietary façade green walls through local plant selection and sourcing.

Eximia Design was then engaged to undertake a detailed audit report to assess the condition and sustainability of all living facades across the building some 7 years post construction. The 20k audit report included growing media, fertigation systems, vegetation, green walls and horizontal planter assessment, BMU function and capacity, and contractor performance. It culminated in a series of recommendations to rectify ongoing problems and improve sustainability and reduce maintenance inputs. Eximia Design was also engaged to write a new maintenance plan for the building, seek tenderer interest from the market, run the tender process, make recommendation of a new preferred maintenance contractor, and review and amend the contractor service contract to minimise any potential loopholes. Eximia Design also remained incumbent expert on the building between 2020 and 2023 providing design upgrades to green walls, façade planters, and internal and external gardens, and offering advice to the body corporate and management team on contractor issues.
